“Don’t worry”, the most frequently heard phrase now. If there was any device that detects our worrying portion, I am sure that all of us would not be shocked seeing the number of days that just flew by in our life.

I was that girl who used to be worrying about every small stuff that happened. Unknowingly took that as a part-time job my whole life, haha 😂. It is fun when I look back at things now, but I lost a part of my life worrying about situations that were not in my control.

Are you also like me? Do you keep meddling with something in your mind all the time?

If your answer is Yes, I extend my warm welcome to the club ✌️.

Have you ever thought for a moment, why you are not able to stop doing this?

A lot of my friends have asked me, by merely worrying, will the situation change or get fixed?

When Renu in this story started understanding the nerve of it, she began seeing the positive front of any situation that arose in her life.

Renu was one of us, who didn’t know how to let go of things that affected her mental peace until she had that chat with her friend Ajay.

That day at the office, Renu had a lot of work piled up with back to back escalation emails flooding her inbox. Knowing her situation, Ajay walked up to Renu to check if she requires any help.

He noticed Renu staring at her laptop doing nothing. Pitiful Renu dwelled in her thoughts, didn’t notice that Ajay was standing beside her for the past five minutes.

Ajay shook Renu to bring back to her senses. Renu’s eyes were filled with tears. She broke out seeing him. Not knowing what to do, he asked her,

“What happened Renu? Do you need any help with work?”

For a couple of minutes, he didn’t get any response from her. He gave her the time to relax until she opened up. Renu cleared her voice and began speaking.

She told the problems she was facing in her personal life and didn’t know what to do about it.

Ajay patiently listened to her and finally told “Renu, the solution is in your hand only.”

Renu stood confused and asked him, “If the solution is with me I would have solved it instead of worrying myself over it”

“You can’t find an answer or solution to everything Renu. Sometimes letting it go is also a solution. When you think that you can’t do anything about it then how will worrying alone solve the problem?”

Ajay’s response hit hard on her mind. All of us have problems in our life. Just thinking about it won’t help us move a step further. Renu needed a friend like Ajay to make her realize. We never know if all of us would have someone like that. Sometimes, it is the situations we come across that help us learn the lesson in a hard way.

Next instance when you face a problem ask this question to yourself, “Can I find a solution to this?”.

If your heart says ‘No’ the plan B is always in place. Just let it go away from your mind.
